Our newly formed Longhorn Council International Committee, chaired by Tom Lucas, has been sent information regarding an International Philmont Trek hosted by the International Division. Ten (10) Boy Scouts or Venturers from the US will have a chance to go to Philmont free and hike with Scouts from other countries, all expenses paid. It requires an essay to be submitted. The council will choose one entry to be submitted to the international division. |

Product Recall: Immediate Recognition Kit BSA item 01804 |

Earlier this year, Kahoot, the maker of the Immediate Recognition Kit, issued a recall due to excessive lead found during product safety testing. The Longhorn Council Scout Shops now have replacement kits for those recalled. |
